Privacy policy

  1. The website www.lpprojekti.lv (hereinafter the Website) collects data about its visitors and customers in order to handle incoming enquiries and orders, and to assess how useful the Website is and how it could be improved.
  2. The controller that collects data about visitors on the Website is SIA “LP Projekti”, registration No. 40203402141, VAT No. LV40203402141 (hereinafter the Controller).
  3. Registered address of the Controller: Ziemeļu iela 11, Ogre, Ogre municipality, LV-5001, Latvia. Warehouse address: Daugavpils iela 18, Ogre, LV-5001. E-mail: lauris@lpprojekti.lv. Phone: +371 26 534 844.
  4. The Controller sells screw piles, installs screw pile foundations throughout Latvia, provides technical consultations and rents out installation tools. Personal data is processed mainly because the visitor contacts the Controller with a question, requests a quotation or places an order in the Website catalogue. The Controller also needs to know which information matters to visitors, how often they visit the Website, which devices and browsers they use and which content they read most.
  5. When filling in the contact form, the visitor submits a name, surname, e-mail address, information about the planned structure and the planned installation time, the town or municipality of the site, additional information and any attached files such as drawings or sketches. The Controller uses this data only to assess the project, prepare a quotation and contact the visitor. The legal basis is taking steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). If no contract is concluded, the enquiry is kept for two years from the last communication.
  6. In the Website catalogue the visitor can select screw piles and installation accessories and send an order request. No payment takes place on the Website, and creating a user account is not available. The request states the name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, collection or delivery address, company details if the buyer is a legal entity, and the goods selected. The Controller uses this data to contact the buyer, agree on the scope of the order, the delivery and the payment terms, and issue an invoice. The legal basis is taking steps at the request of the buyer prior to entering into a contract and performance of that contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), while invoicing and accounting are based on compliance with the legal obligations of the Controller (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)).
  7. As no payment takes place on the Website, the Controller does not receive or store payment card details or bank account credentials. If a courier or transport service provider is used to deliver the goods, the recipient’s name, phone number and address are passed to that provider to the extent needed to deliver the shipment. Accounting source documents, including invoices, are kept for at least five years, as required by Section 28 of the Accounting Law of Latvia.
  8. The Website publishes descriptions and photographs of completed projects and customer reviews, which may state the customer’s name and the town or municipality of the site. The Controller publishes such information only with the customer’s consent, which can be withdrawn at any time by writing to lauris@lpprojekti.lv.
  9. The server hosting the Website may log the requests sent by the visitor (device used, browser, IP address, date and time of access). This data is used for technical purposes, to keep the Website working and intact and to prevent unauthorised access. The basis for collecting it is the legitimate interest of the Controller.
  10. Cookies are small files which, each time the visitor opens the Website, the browser stores on the visitor’s device to the extent set in the browser settings. Cookies allow the Website to remember the visitor’s choices and to track how visitors use the Website. Further information about cookies, including how to delete and manage them, is available at www.aboutcookies.org.
  11. The Website uses necessary and functional cookies, which keep the contents of the cart of selected goods, the selected language and the visitor’s cookie choice, as well as analytics, performance and advertising cookies. Google Analytics, running through Google Tag Manager, is used for visit statistics, while Meta Pixel is used to measure the results of Facebook and Instagram advertising and passes information about the visitor’s activity to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited.
  12. Cookie choices are managed by the CookieYes tool. Necessary cookies are always active, while the rest are enabled only after the visitor has given consent. The choice made is stored for one year and can be changed or withdrawn at any time in the “Cookie settings” section in the Website footer. Information about how Google Analytics works is available at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1012034, and data collection can be stopped at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/.
  13. The visitor may delete all cookies stored on their device, and most browsers can be set to block cookies from being stored. In that case the settings will have to be adjusted each time the Website is visited, and some Website functions, including the cart, may not work.
  14. Personal data is accessible only to those employees of the Controller who need this information to perform their duties. Data is passed to providers of website maintenance, accounting and delivery services to the extent needed for the particular task. The Controller does not sell personal data and does not pass it to third parties for marketing purposes.
  15. The visitor has the right to access their data, request its correction or erasure, restrict processing, object to processing and withdraw consent given earlier. Requests should be sent to lauris@lpprojekti.lv, and the Controller replies within one month. A complaint about data processing may be submitted to the Data State Inspectorate, Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050, pasts@dvi.gov.lv.
  16. The Controller confirms that personal data, cookies and statistical information are collected, processed and stored in accordance with the requirements of European Union legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
  17. The Controller reserves the right to change these terms at any time. It is the visitor’s own responsibility to check the Website content in order to become aware of any changes to the terms.
