Services

LP Projekti provides screw pile foundation solutions for lightweight and moderately loaded structures. We work with technically sound solutions, assessing soil conditions, load requirements, and the building’s structure to ensure safe, durable, and predictable foundations without the need for concrete.

Screw pile systems and sales

We offer screw pile solutions for various applications, tailoring the selection to the type of structure, soil conditions, and expected loads. The screw piles are chosen based on both functional requirements and structural characteristics to ensure safe and long-lasting foundation construction.

Screw piles by construction and design

The construction, material, and type of attachment of screw piles determine their suitability for a specific structure.

  • Different diameters and lengths
  • Single or multi-helix screw piles
  • Head types: U-shaped, flat plate, adjustable heads
  • Protective coatings and reinforced construction

Delivery of goods

By prior agreement, we provide delivery of screw piles and related products to any location in Latvia that is convenient for you.

Screw pile installation on site

What is included in the installation

  • Marking out the pile positions and installation
  • Levelling of heights and preparation for fixing
  • Basic inspection and handover for further works

What is required on site and what the client should consider before work begins

  • The client must ensure that they have all necessary rights and permits to carry out construction works on the specific plot.
  • A decision on the location of the structure must be made in accordance with applicable regulations, taking into account possible underground services within the screw pile installation zone down to approximately 2 m depth (electric cables, drainage, water supply, gas pipeline, etc.).
  • A sketch or project must be agreed with us and the builders, indicating foundation dimensions, types of screw piles, lengths, and required quantities.
  • Access to the installation site must be ensured, and it is recommended that the site is prepared (cleared of trees, bushes, tall grass, and other obstacles).
  • A 220V power supply must be provided (if not available, an alternative solution can be arranged).

Bespoke solutions

Non-standard solutions

Not all sites are the same—terrain, soil conditions, and site access often require an individual approach. In non-standard cases, screw piles allow the foundation solution to be adapted to the specific situation while maintaining stability and precision.

When non-standard solutions are required

  • Sites with uneven terrain or on slopes
  • Structures near water—walkways, piers, shoreline constructions
  • Areas with limited access where heavy machinery cannot be used
  • Constructions requiring non-standard heights or support spacing

What solutions are used

  • Screw piles with extensions to reach load-bearing soil layers
  • Adjustable fixings for height correction and precise levelling
  • Individually adapted pile layout according to loads and structure
  • Work with handheld equipment in areas where mechanised installation is not possible

Consultations

Our clients who purchase screw piles from LP Projekti receive a start-up consultation, where we explain:

  • types of screw piles and their differences,
  • application options for different structures,
  • load-bearing capacity and the most suitable solutions for the specific project.

We help you understand exactly what to choose to ensure safe and suitable foundations.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to questions clients ask about screw piles and their installation.

Hot dipped galvanised steel provides over 50 years of service life. We use Q235B carbon steel with an average zinc coating thickness of 70 μm according to DIN EN ISO 1461 standard.

A standard screw pile load capacity ranges from 1 to 4 tonnes depending on diameter, length, and soil conditions. We determine the exact capacity for each project during installation by monitoring torque.

Screw piles are installed in one day, without excavation, curing time, or damage to the surrounding area. The foundation is ready for load immediately after installation. Screw piles can also be removed if needed.

The client needs to arrange construction rights and permits, know the location of underground utilities up to 2 m depth (cables, sewage, water, gas), and provide a 220V power supply. The site must be cleared of trees, bushes, and tall grass.

For private houses and terraces, screw piles are typically installed 1.5 to 3 metres deep. The final depth depends on soil conditions. We drive the pile until the blade reaches a load-bearing soil layer and torque shows the required resistance.

The main differences are metal thickness, zinc coating quality, and weld execution. Cheap screw piles often have thinner shaft walls and incomplete corrosion protection, which accelerates rust. Quality screw piles are hot dipped galvanised according to DIN EN ISO 1461 with an average coating thickness of 70 μm.

Foundation installation for a private house or terrace typically takes one working day. Larger projects or complex soil may require two days. After installation, the foundation is ready for frame construction without any waiting period.
